Samsung had sent out press invites for its event scheduled to be held on February 24, which is said to feature the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S5. While there have been quite a few random rumours, we now have the final specs of the device.
According to noted Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin, Who was the first to hint towards an early launch for the Samsung Galaxy S5, has now revealed the specs of the device. The flagship is expected to sport a 5.24 inch display with the much awaited Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. If true, this would result in a screen with pixel density of 560 ppi.
As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S5 would be available in two versions based on the processor. The first, which will be released in the international markets, would be powered by the Snapdragon 805 processor, while the other will be powered by the new Exynos 6 chip. The smartphone would pack in 3 GB of RAM and would be available in 32 GB and 64 GB options.
That’s not all, the Samsung Galaxy S5 would feature a massive 16 MP rear facing camera using the ISOCELL technology. There would also be a front facing 3.2 MP camera. The phone would come with a 3200 mAh battery, which would hopefully end all the battery woes faced by the users. Is the device going to bring a change in the quickly saturating smartphone market?
