Facebook has announced the launch of a new app called the Facebook Camera, for all the iOS devices. The best thing about this app is that it is a totally different and separate from the main Facebook app and it is much better when it comes to taking pictures and posting them directly on Facebook.
The features of the Facebook Camera app for iOS include, batch upload which allows you to upload multiple photos directly from the gallery and upload them on the tap of just one button.
This feature lacks in the main Facebook app, where you can upload only one picture at a time, so the Facebook Camera app wins here. Another great feature of this app is that it includes filters and basic cropping which have been brought in from the $1 billion app, Instagram, which Facebook bought recently. So now you can add effects to your photos in the gallery and upload them on Facebook directly.
Next up is the tagging feature, which allows you to tag your friends in the picture. All you have to do is tap on the face of your friend and start typing their name. The app will automatically suggest you the name of your friend from your Facebook account. And also once you tag your friend in one picture, the app will automatically scan the pictures and tag your friends in the remaining photos, thanks to the face recognition technology.
