With printing from smartphones becoming a quite common amongst smartphone users, Epson has launched the Epson Print Enabler app for Android.
Epson has announced the launch of the Epson Print Enabler app for printing documents wirelessly using the smartphone. Using the app, documents can be printed directly from Chrome, Drive, Gallery, Gmail, Photos, Quickoffice and other apps. However the app is available only for devices running Android KitKat v4.4.
According to Epson, over 60 new and legacy Epson Connect-enabled printers are compatible with app. Users can select available printers, change papers sizes and choose specific pages to print. Also developers can also add Android Printing using standardized “APIs to add printing capabilities to their apps with minimal code changes. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
