With the increasing demand for entry level smartphones, Micromax seems to be preparing a budget phone for the lower end markets.
The Micromax Bolt A58 has a small 3.5 inch display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 1 GHz dual core MediaTek 6572M processor with just 512 MB of RAM and even lesser 512 MB of internal storage of which just 90 MB would be available to the user. However the memory can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card.
The Micromax Bolt A58 would have a very small 2 MP fixed focus rear facing camera. The device would have dual SIM support along with 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. While most specs are very outdated, the device would run on the Android v4.2.2. While the pricing of the device is not yet known, we can expect it to be priced very low, thus attracting the first time smartphone buyers.
