What comes to your mind when we say Nexus? Google of course! But along with that we also recollect the Galaxy Nexus which is the latest Nexus devices from the search giant built by Samsung.
And as the year is nearing its end a new rumour related to the next Nexus smartphone is doing its rounds. And it seems that Sammy is again the manufacturer for the next Nexus smartphones.
Along with this rumour an alleged specs sheet of the device dubbed as GT-9260 has popped up where it is being compared to the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy S III and going by the specs, the next Nexus seems to be just an upgrade over the current one.
The next Nexus is said to arrive with a 4.65 inch screen which is same as that of the Galaxy Nexus. Here the upgrade is that the screen has been upgraded to a Super AMOLED HD one. Next the processor could be upgraded to a 1.5 GHz dual-core A9 as compared to the 1.2 GHz dual-core on Galaxy Nexus.
Now here absence of a quad-core processor is indeed heart-breaking but we would still take this leak with a grain of salt. Next up is the camera and the next Nexus might be arriving with an upgraded 8 MP camera at the rear and also the front facing camera has been upgraded to 1.9 MP.
The online storage remains same at 16 GB but this time, there might be a microSD slot arriving with the device. There is no information as to when and at what price the Galaxy Nexus will arrive but we feel that it might not be too far away.
