We generally have seen fingerprint scanners on high-end smartphones, but Coolpad now plans on launching the affordable Coolpad Note 3 with fingerprint sensor in India.
The Coolpad Note 3, which is the company’s latest smartphone with a fingerprint sensor on the back, is expected to be launched in India in the second week of October. The company has long term plans in India considering the fact that they have established a network of 250 service centres already in India.
The Coolpad Note 3 has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core MediaTek processor with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The device has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera and a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 3000 mAh battery. While the device packs in some decent specifications, the handset is expected to be priced around Rs. 10000 thus making it one of the most affordable 4G enabled smartphones with fingerprint scanner.
