While gesture support for apps has become a new trend for Android apps, Google is soon pushing the feature onto its Chrome browser which has a lot of following on Android smartphones.
According to a post on the official blog of Chrome, the company would be adding new features to the Chrome browser. While Chrome users would be able to search by images, Chrome for Android users would get gesture support for their mobile browsers, which would help in quickly navigating through opened tabs and accessing the menu bar.
With the new gesture support for Chrome for Android, users can swipe horizontally across the top toolbar to quickly switch between open tabs. Additionally, you can also drag vertically down from the toolbar to enter into the tab switcher view and then choose the required tab. Users can now drag down from the menu to open the menu and select the item you want. Like always, the updates will be rolled out in phases over the next few weeks.
