On seeing the immense appreciation their latest Moto X device received, Motorola is now trying to take a shot at the tablet segment as well, even though the past hasn’t been very conducive for the company.
Motorola’s CEO Dennis Woodside, while enlisting the Google owned company’s future plans, claimed that there would be a new tablet besides updates to the Moto X smartphone. While he didn’t mention any specific details about the tablet device he did say that it is something that the company is currently working on.
Considering the commitment of Motorola to make customization a proper reality, the tablet also could very well be customizable using the Moto Maker, just like the Moto X. But given Google’s support and the considerable improvements seen in the company devices, a tablet could just be marketed as well as the Nexus tablets.
