While there have been many company’s breaking the price barriers of Android smartphones and venturing into the sub-Rs. 2000 range, Celkon has just unveiled the Celkon Campus Nova A352E.
Celkon has announced the launch of the Celkon Campus Nova A352E, which is the company’s ultra-affordable entry level smartphone. The device has a small 3.5 inch display. The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz single core processor with a mere 256 MB of RAM and just 512 MB of internal storage. The phone has a 2 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash.
Celkon has also partnered with Opera Software to have the Opera Mini browser pre-installed in the Celkon Campus Nova A352E. The company is striving hard to drive the growth of data consumption in India and pre-installing the browser is a means to achieve it apparently. The handset is priced at Rs. 2000.
