With Indian handset makers trying hard to capitalize on the Android KitKat update for their entry-level smartphones, Celkon has launched the Celkon Campus A35K.
Celkon has announced the launch of the Celkon Campus A35K which is touted to be the cheapest Android KitKat smartphone. The device has a small 3.5 inch display with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a mere 1 GHz processor with just 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal storage which can however be expanded using microSD cards.
The Celkon Campus A35K is equipped with a rear facing 3.2 MP camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device comes installed with the latest version of Android KitKat. It also has dual SIM support with 3G connectivity. The handset is priced at just Rs. 2999 and would be available exclusively through Snapdeal. Despite the very low specs, the price point makes it very attractive.
