After the controversial Freedom 251 smartphone, we have yet another company trying out a new sales gimmick for the ChampOne C1.
ChampOne has announced the launch of the ChampOne C1, which is the company’s affordable smartphone offering with a fingerprint scanner. While the handset is originally priced at Rs. 8000, the company is offering the smartphone for just Rs. 501 if you can manage to grab one from the upcoming flash sale slotted for September 2. Users need to register in advance for the flash sale. However, the registration portal was facing technical issues at the time of filing this story.
The ChampOne C1 has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The ChampOne C1 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a 2500 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is available in White, Silver and Gold colour options.
