While Idea Cellular just launched its Aurus 4 3G smartphone, BSNL has announced two new smartphones in the PentaSmart range.
BSNL and Pantel has announced the launch of the BSNL PentaSmart PS501 and the PentaSmart PS650 with 5 inch and a massive 6.5 inch display respectively. Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core A7 processor along with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The BSNL PentaSmart PS501 and the PentaSmart PS650 run on the Android v4.2. The BSNL PentaSmart PS501 has a 5 MP rear facing camera whereas the BSNL PentaSmart PS650 has just a 2 MP camera. Both the device also have a front facing VGA camera. The BSNL PentaSmart PS501 is priced at Rs. 6999 while the BSNL PentaSmart PS650 is priced at Rs. 7999. The smartphones come bundled with 3GB of 3G data and up to 300 minutes of talk-time from BSNL.
