Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of a new prepaid pack in its Chennai and Tamil Nadu telecom circle called the ‘Nesam Special’. With the introduction of ‘Nesam Special’ BSNL has also announced the withdrawal of the Nesam and Nesam Super plans with immediate effect.
The validity of the plan is 30 days only and after the expiry of initial validity, users will have to opt for the Rs. 29 voucher again to extend their validity. Call charges to Local and STD BSNL numbers is 1p/second. Whereas both Local and STD calls to other networks will be charged at just 1.2p/second. On-net and Off-net Calls during Roaming will be charged at 1.2p/second.
Local SMS will be chargeable at 50p/SMS whereas STD SMS will be 6op/SMS. Users will also be able to opt in for 5 FnF numbers (Only Chennai and Tamil Nadu Circle numbers) where on-net calling would be chargeable at 20p/minute and off-net calling would be chargeable at 40p/minute.
BSNL users opting for this plan will be able to opt for all STVs are allowed except STV 22 & 23.
