Just as expected, BlackBerry has officially launched its flagship – the BlackBerry Z3 in India. However, people don’t seem to be too happy with their pricing strategy of the affordable smartphone.
BlackBerry has announced the launch of the BlackBerry Z3 in India. The company’s first affordable handset is built by Foxconn under their new partnership. The device has a 5 inch display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the dual core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with the Adreno 305 GPU, 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The BlackBerry Z3 has a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 1.1 MP camera. The phone runs on the latest BlackBerry 10 OS and has a 2500 mAh non-removable battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 15990 and would go on sale from July 2. However the phone will be available for pre-order with The MobileStore, Flipkart and BlackBerry exclusive stores starting from today. Customers pre-booking the device online will get Rs. 1000 vouchers.
