The budget version of the Blackberry Q10 which was launched keeping in mind the emerging markets like India, will be launched in the country next week.
Blackberry has announced a launch event on July 16 in India. While it isn’t mentioned which device would be launched, it is quite obvious that it is the touch and QWERTY smartphone – the Blackberry Q5. Also the device is said to be priced like the other market globally at around Rs. 25000.
The Blackberry Q5 would be the third device to run on the new Blackberry 10 OS. Just like the Blackberry Q10, the Q5 has a 3.1 inch display. It just compensates for the price with a lower processing power and smaller camera. It offers the classic Blackberry QWERT keypad along with the touch screen features.

- 3.1 inch display
- 720 x 720 pixels resolution
- 1.2 GHz dual core processor
