Just days after the official announcement of the BlackBerry Passport, the company has launched the handset in India.
BlackBerry has announced the launch of The BlackBerry Passport in India. The smartphone has a 4 inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and super high resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels which results in a 453 ppi density. Despite being a high-end smartphone, the device is powered by the almost outdated Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz but with a massive 3 GB of RAM.
The BlackBerry Passport has a 13 MP rear facing camera with 6DOF OIS, BSI sensor and a 5-element f/2.0 lens. There is also a front facing 2 MP fixed focus camera. The device runs on the latest BlackBerry OS version 10.3 with a massive 3450 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 49990 and is available for pre-booking from Amazon.in and would go on sale on October 10.
