Keeping with the new ultra-secure DTEK series of Android smartphones, BlackBerry has now launched the BlackBerry DTEK60.
BlackBerry has announced the launch of the BlackBerry DTEK60, which is the company’s flagship smartphone offering which is said to be most secure Android smartphone. The device has secure bootloader that uses multi-stage verification to ensure that the Android OS hasn’t been tampered with, in order to protect business data against hackers rooting the device. It also has a Fingerprint Sensor for added security.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 has a 21 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera with LED flash. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone has USB Type-C support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is priced at $499 (approx. Rs. 33500) and is expected to go sale in the coming weeks.
