Research In Motion (RIM), has unveiled their latest arrival to the blackberry bold series, BlackBerry Bold 9780 which features 3G, classic BlackBerry keyboard and optical trackpad. Its also the first BlackBerry Bold smartphone to come with the latest BlackBerry 6 operating system.

The specifications show that it is not very different from other Bold handsets though this Smartphone comes with 3G and the new BlackBerry O.S 6.The BlackBerry O.S 6 is very different from its earlier operating system as there is no separate full screen drawer in this new iteration, everything is handled from the home-screen itself, you can also perform a universal search without having to go to your browser from the home-screen, easy shuffling between the recent applications, favorite applications and the application drawer. Including all these features the browser has also been upgraded, the browser provides a zoom feature that can auto-wrap text in a column while maintaining the placement of a page’s key elements for easier viewing.
The other features of blackberry O.S 6 include expanded messaging capabilities with features to manage social networking and RSS easily. It also has integrated access to BBM, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace. It also sports the dedicated youtube application. The music and picture applications have also been redesigned.
