A few days ago we saw the announcement that with the BlackBerry App World 3.1 we would now see App rating and filters and today the App World 3.1 is available for download from the BlackBerry Beta Zone. What’s more, now with v3.1 you can even ask your family or friend to buy an app for you and gift it to you.
New in v3.1:
- Request a Gift – Now request your loved ones, to gift you the latest and greatest applications available in App World.
- Content Rating and Filtering – New rating abilities allow content providers to indicate the maturity level of their content and let users filter results based on their desired maturity level.
- Wi-Fi Only Support – Your App World will now allow users access when using a Wi-Fi only connection.
- New Language Support – App World 3.1 now supports simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Dutch.
