A couple of days back, Research In Motion (RIM), the makers of BlackBerry smartphones had officially announced that the Canadian giant will unveil its BlackBerry 10 OS on January 30th, 2013.
The launch event will take place simultaneously in multiple countries around the world, where details of the smartphones and their availability will be announced along with a detailed look into the new OS.
And if you wondering when you could get your hands over the L-Series and N-Series BlackBerry 10 smartphones, then Reuters is quoting RIM’s COO Kristian Tear who said that new BlackBerry devices will be available “not too long after” the official announcement.
Initially, RIM plans to roll-out a high-end full touchscreen smartphone which we know will belong to the BlackBerry 10 L-Series and later on in the next few weeks, the QWERTY smartphone which BlackBerry users love the most, from the BlackBerry 10 N-Series will arrive in the market.
RIM has said that lower-end smartphones (both full touchscreen and QWERTY) will be launched later next year. The BlackBerry 10 OS is bringing in new features like BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Keyboard, BlackBerry Balance and more.
