It seems that the famed BlackBerry Messenger has finally landed on the Google Play Store and iOS app store. While many of us did not have too much faith in BlackBerry for doing so, It has finally achieved the task of getting BBM to other smartphone platforms.
After last month’s failed BBM launch, many of us were skeptical as to whether BlackBerry would really be able to pull it off. Still most people went ahead and registered anyway. While many people are still on the ‘waitlist’ for using BBM, many others have, as of today received their BBM pin and started messaging and sharing their pins with other people.
The company has stated that it would be bringing BBM Video, BBM Voice and BBM Channels to Android and iOS although there are no details on availability of these features out.
