ASUS unveiled the first three ZenFone 3 series smartphones back in May last year and has since launched several smartphones in that series. Well, it seems ASUS is going to add one more smartphone in its ZenFone 3 lineup with the unveiling of ZenFone 3 Go which has surfaced online.
Specifications and image of the ASUS ZenFone 3 Go has just surfaced online. The ZenFone 3 Go flaunts a brushed metal finish and comes in three colors – Gold, Rose Gold and Blue. There’s no fingerprint scanner on the ZenFone 3 Go, and, the device has capacitive navigation keys which are pretty standard on ASUS smartphones.
At the back, you can see the ASUS moniker along with antenna lines. Below is a USB port which is flanked by primary microphone and a speaker. We are not sure whether that’s a Type-C port or microUSB. The ZenFone 3 Go comes with “Soft LED flash” at the front which would be useful for taking selfies in low-light.
Speaking of other specs, the ZenFone 3 Go is said to come with Snapdragon 410 SoC under the hood which would be paired with 2 GB of RAM. The device has 16 GB of storage on board and hopefully users will be able to expand the storage via microSD card. The device has 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels display) and would come with 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera.
The ZenFone 3 Go might also come with what is called Dual MEMS Mics and Five-Magnet Speaker. Talking about the price, the ZenFone 3 Go is said to be priced at €150 (around $160/₹10,700). Also, ASUS is said to unveil this smartphone at MWC 2017, with the flagship ZenFone 4 said to be unveiled later in May.
