ASUS ZenBook Flip S Convertible Laptop with 360-degree flippable touch display launched in India

Taiwan-based ASUS launched the ZenFone 4 series smartphones in India last year in September. Now today, the company has launched a convertible laptop in India called ASUS ZenBook Flip S. And, it is one of the thinnest and lightest laptops… I mean convertible laptops available in the market right now.

The ASUS ZenBook Flip S looks beautiful and premium. ASUS says that it’s made out of aerospace-grade aluminium that makes it 50% stronger than other laptops with standard alloy. That said, even with all that beauty and sturdiness, the ASUS ZenBook Flip S remains 11.2 mm thin while weighing 1.1 kg making it very much portable and easier to carry around.

Having said that, the biggest highlight of the ASUS ZenBook Flip S is that its 13.3-inch LED-backlit touch display can be flipped 360-degree. Yes, that’s right. The ZenBook Flip S comes with an ‘ErgoLift Hinge’ that lets you flip the screen up to 360-degree without any hassles.

Moreover, you can keep the display tilted at any angle you want, and, when the display is opened beyond 135-degrees, the ErgoLift mechanism lifts and tilts the keyboard by 1.5-degree for a better typing experience.

That said, the display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and viewing angle of 178-degree. The display is also covered with Gorilla Glass for extra protection, and, it also features ASUS Eye Care technology that reduces the emission of blue light by up to 30%.

Moving on, the ASUS ZenBook Flip S comes with a keyboard having a key travel of 1.0 mm and key pitch of 19.85 mm. And, as this is a backlit keyboard, you can easily type on it even at night.

Speaking about the innards, the ASUS ZenBook Flip S is powered by Intel’s 8th generation Core i7 CPU which is laced with 16 GB RAM. However, there’s no discreet graphics on the laptop, hence, you will have to make do with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620.
