With the PadFone series becoming popular in India, Asus has launched the Asus PadFone Mini in the country.
Asus has announced the launch of the Asus PadFone Mini (PF400CG) in India. The device has a small 4.0 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone is powered 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The phone can be docked into the 7 inch Padfone station to convert it into a tablet with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
The Asus Padfone Mini is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing camera besides a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean OS, which can be upgraded to the KitKat version. The smartphone has an 1170 mAh battery and the docking station has a 2100 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 15999.
