While the refreshed version of the Nexus 7 has already been made available on the Google India Play Store, Asus has now officially announced the tablet in the country.
Asus in association with Google has launched the Nexus 7 (2013 edition) in India. The refreshed version of the Nexus 7, which is thinner, lighter and faster than the earlier version, has a 7 inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 2 GB of RAM.
The Nexus 7 (2013 edition) is available in two variants, LTE version with 32 GB internal memory and Wi-Fi only version with 16 GB of internal memory. The device is equipped with a 5 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 1.2 MP camera. The tablet runs on the Android v4.3 with a 15 Wh battery.
The Nexus 7 (2013 edition) is priced at Rs. 20999 for the Wi-Fi only version and Rs. 27999 for the LTE version, which is the same as listed on the Google Play store. The tablet would be available at Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.
