While Samsung just unveiled the Galaxy Note 3, Asus has jumped into the ring to compete with the flagship device with a device of its own – the Asus FonePad Note 6.
The Asus FonePad Note 6 has a 6 inch full HD display. The device, which like the Note 3 is equipped with a stylus, is powered by the new 2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2580 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Sadly, the phablet has no extraordinary camera and will have to make do with an 8 MP rear facing camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera.
Also another addition to the FonePad series is the Asus FonePad 7, which though sized like a tablet is still considered to be a smartphone. The device with the 7 inch display has a lot of specs downgraded. The FonePad has just 1 GB of RAM and the earlier 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor. The camera on the back is also reduced to 5 MP and storage to 8 GB.
