Considering the success of the Asus Fonepad 7 in India, the company has launched a more affordable variants of the handset – the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG.
Asus has announced the launch of the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG, which is the low-end variant in their FonePad series, which has devices sized like a tablet yet is still considered to be a smartphone. The device is equipped with a 7 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2520 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG sports a 2 MP rear facing camera along with a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android v4.3 which is upgradable to the latest Android KitKat version. The phone has a 3950 mAh battery which is said to last for 28 hours of talk time or 10 hours of active use. The handset is priced at Rs. 8999 and is available in Black, White, Red and Blue colour options.
