Late last year, Asus launched the FonePad 7 in India. Now the company is gearing to launch the dual SIM version of the device in the country.
The Asus FonePad 7, which sized like a tablet yet is still considered to be a smartphone, will be launched with dual SIM support in India on April 15. The device is equipped with a 7 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2520 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Asus FonePad 7 sports a 5 MP rear facing camera along with a front facing 1.2 MP camera. Its 3950 mAh battery is said to last for 28 hours of talk time or 10 hours of active use. The device runs on the Android v4.3 with a UI layer of Asus. The device is expected to be priced at Rs. 16000.
