After many speculations and rumours, Apple has finally revealed its 4 inch iPhone, which it calls as the Apple iPhone SE.
Apple has announced the launch of the Apple iPhone SE, which is the enhanced version of the iPhone 5s with a design similar to the iPhone 5s but with improved hardware. The company intends to discontinue the iPhone 5s and replace it with the Apple iPhone SE. The handset is also equipped with a TouchID fingerprint scanner.
The Apple iPhone SE has a small 4 inch retina display. The device is powered by the A9 processor along with the M9 motion co-processors, the same which are used on the iPhone 6s. The handset is available in two variants based on storage – 16 GB and 64 GB.
The Apple iPhone SE flaunts the 12 MP iSight camera that was also seen in the iPhone 6s. There is also a front facing 1.2 MP camera. The handset runs on iOS 9.3 out of the box. The phone is available in space gray, silver, gold or rose gold colour options.
The Apple iPhone SE is priced at $399 for the 16 GB variant and $499 for the 64 GB variant. Interestingly, the company also revealed that the base model of the handset will retail starting at Rs. 30000 in India.
