While Apple just announced the new flagship iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, the company has now slashed the rates of the existing handsets in India before the launch of the new flagships.
Apple has announced price cuts for the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5S in India. Post the reduction, the iPhone 6 16 GB would be priced at Rs. 52000 front the earlier Rs. 56000 and the 64 GB variant would be priced at Rs. 62000 from the earlier Rs. 65000. Similarly, the iPhone 6 Plus would now be available at Rs. 62000 from the earlier Rs. 65000 and the 64 GB variant would be priced at Rs. 72000 instead of the earlier Rs. 74000.
Not just the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, but even the iPhone 5S received a price cut with the 16 GB variant now retailing at Rs. 35000 from the earlier Rs. 47000 and the 32 GB variant retailing at Rs. 40000 from the earlier Rs. 51500 thus offering a discount of nearly Rs. 12000. The new prices are expected to come into effect in the next week.
