While the Apple iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are just spreading out in the markets, the newly announced iOS 8.1 is now available for other Apple users.
Apple has released the iOS 8.1 update is now available for many Apple devices and has a host of new features seen in the recently launched iPhones. The update, which measures 126 MB, is currently available for the iPhone 4s and later as well as the iPad and later and also for the iPod touch 5th generation.
The iOS 8.1 has a host of new features like the Apple Pay, which would allow users to make payments without requiring a credit card. Similarly the iCloud photo library enables users to backup photos on the cloud, thus freeing the space on the device. The Camera Roll feature is also reinstated. To download the latest iOS 8.1 update, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. The update can be downloaded over via Wi-Fi.
