Apple released the first major update to iOS 7 dubbed iOS 7.1 last month and now, the Cupertino giant is rolling out the iOS 7.1.1 update starting today.
As the minor increment of the number suggests, the update is a minor one. The update brings minor bug fixes, security fixes and other improvements.
The update weighs in at 26.1 MB and there are some notable fixes the update brings. iPhone 5s’ TouchID recognition has been said to be improved, a bug that used to impact responsiveness of the keyboard has been fixed and some issues when the Bluetooth keyboards with VoiceOver have been sorted.
The update is surely a minor one but it is an essential one, which might fix one of the issues your iDevice might be having. If you haven’t received the prompt for the update yet, you can head over to settings in your iOS device to check for the update.
