Apple has been making a lot of headlines ever since it unveiled the latest iPhones last month. The new iPhones generated a lot of buzz and then there was the iOS 8’s not so successful release. Apparently, Apple wants to continue making headlines, as it has just confirmed an event for October 16.
The invitation for the event features the tagline “It’s been too long”, which makes us curious if we’ll see updated iPods along with the expected iPads, iMacs and the Macbooks.
We can expect the new iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and the much rumored 12.9-inch iPad for the enterprise. The new iPads will supposedly feature TouchID fingerprint scanners and will come in the same color options as the iPhone, that’s Space Grey, Silver and Gold. We can also expect new Macbook Airs in the same colors. Apple last updated its iMac in 2012, so we can expect an update to it.
Along with all the new hardware Apple is going to show off, we should be able to get more details on OS X Yosemite. The event is exactly a week ahead, so we don’t have to wait too long. As always, we’ll be bringing you all the news from the Apple event.
