With the recently announced 4 inch iPhone SE slated to go on sale in India on April 8, the final pricing details of the ‘affordable’ handset have been revealed.
Apple has announced that the Apple iPhone SE, which is the company’s latest 4 inch iPhone, will go on sale in India starting from April 8. The 16 GB variant was known to be priced at Rs. 39000. Now the company has also revealed that the 64 GB variant would be priced at Rs. 49000. The phones would be distributed through Redington India, Ingram Micro and Rashi Peripherals.
While Apple had claimed that the Apple iPhone SE would be an affordable offering, the pricing doesn’t quite seem to support it. Interestingly, Apple had initially announced that the pricing in India will start at Rs. 30000 but then revised it to Rs. 39000. In the US, the 16 GB variant is priced at just $399 (approx. Rs. 26000) and the 64 GB at $499 (approx. Rs. 33000).
