Alongside the much awaited 4 inch iPhone, Apple also announced the next iteration in its iPad series – the Apple iPad Pro.
Apple has announced the launch of the Apple iPad Pro, which is a slightly smaller version of the iPad Pro that was launched last year. The tablet has a 9.7 inch True Tone Retina display which measures the colour temperature to the ambient light and adjusts the screen to match the surroundings.
The Apple iPad Pro is powered by the A9X chip, which is the company’s 3rd gen 64 bit processor. The tablet is available in three storage options – 32 GB, 128 GB and a massive 256 GB. The device has a special Smart Keyboard and also has support for the Apple Pencil.
The Apple iPad Pro borrows the 12 MP rear facing iSight camera from the iPhone 6s. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device retains the four speakers that were seen in the original version. The tablet has a 27.5‐watt‐hour which promises a 10 hour backup.
The Apple iPad Pro is available in silver, space gray, gold and rose gold colour options. The Wi-Fi only variant of the tablet is priced at $599 for the 32 GB, $749 for the 128 GB and $899 for the 256 GB. Similarly, The Wi-Fi + Cellular variant of the tablet is priced at $729 for the 32 GB, $879 for the 128 GB and $1029 for the 256 GB. In India, the tablets will start at Rs. 49900 for the Wi-Fi only variant and at Rs. 61900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant.
