While the Apple iPad Air and iPad Mini were supposed to be launched in India on November 29, due to unwarranted supply constraints, the device has been delayed but is now all set to be launched at the end of this week.
Ingram Micro, which is the authorized distribution partner of Apple in India, officially announced that the recently released Apple iPad Air and the iPad mini with retina display would be available in the country starting from December 7. The device, which has a 9.7 inch display, weighs 28 percent lighter than the previous iPad.
The iPad Air is reportedly said to be priced at Rs. 35900 for the 16 GB Wi-Fi only version. The 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB Wi-Fi only variants are expected to be priced at Rs. 42900, Rs. 49900 and Rs. 56900 respectively. While the 16 GB iPad Air with cellular connectivity is said to be priced at Rs. 44900, the 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants are expected to be priced at Rs. 51900, Rs. 58900 and Rs. 65900 respectively.
Similarly the 16 GB Wi-Fi only version of the iPad Mini with Retina display would be priced at Rs. 28900 whereas the 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB versions would be priced at Rs. 35900, Rs. 42900 and Rs. 49900 respectively. The 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants of the iPad mini with Retina display and cellular connectivity would be priced at Rs. 37900, Rs. 44900, Rs. 51900 and Rs. 58900 respectively.
