While the iPad Air was quite well known for its 9.7-inch variant with a very slim frame, Apple has now refreshed the model and the price for the Apple iPad (2017).
Apple has announced the launch of the Apple iPad (2017), which is technically the successor of the iPad Air 2 but skips the Air naming convention. The device has the same 9.7-inch Retina display and has a Touch ID fingerprint sensor embedded in the Home button.
The Apple iPad (2017) is powered by the A9 chip with the M9 co-processor and is available in 32 GB and 128 GB storage variants. The device is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 1.2 MP HD camera. The tablet has a 32.4 Wh battery which is said to offer 10 hours’ power.

The Apple iPad would be available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants. The pricing starts at $329 for the 32 GB Wi-Fi only variant. In India, the device is expected to be launched in April priced at Rs. 28900 for the 32 GB Wi-Fi only variant and Rs. 39900 for the 32 GB Wi-Fi + Cellular variant.
