After investing a lot of moolah in an Apple iOS device, you just cannot ignore the need to go in for extended warranty under the Apple Care Plan for the device. In the past if you needed to use Apple Care, you could only use it in the country you bought the device in and not anywhere else, which made it a waste of money for extensive travellers. Well, Apple has finally availed users the privilege of using Apple Care+ any where they go, only point being that it is available in that country.
Apple, it seems is out to woo consumers. It is the first time in so many years, that the company has actually extended service support to other countries. This actually holds good too if you are looking to save some bucks by getting them from outside India.
But, don’t rejoice so soon. Apple has also increased service price from $39 to $79 recently. Also the plan we are talking is not Apple Care, but Apple Care+, which is currently available only in Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
