While Apple has slightly postponed the launch of the Apple iPhone 6 in India to October 17, the company seems eager to clear out the existing flagship stocks.
According to sources, Apple has officially slashed the prices of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C in India. Sources reveal that the iPhone 5S would now be priced at Rs. 44500 for the 16 GB version and Rs. 49500 for the 32 GB version. Similarly, the 8 GB iPhone 5C would now be priced at Rs. 31500. The company may also soon launch a buyback scheme for the handsets.
Apple has gone all out to drop the prices of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. The company is offering a discount of Rs. 9000 on the 16 GB iPhone 5S version which was launched at Rs. 53500 and Rs. 13000 on the 32 GB iPhone 5S version which was launched at Rs. 62500. The iPhone 5C however got just a Rs. 6000 price cut from the Rs. 37500 launch price.
