While Apple had got a lot of negative publicity with the ‘BendGate’ issue of the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus now seems to be susceptible to what the social media now calls as the ‘touch disease’.
Apple has officially acknowledged a touch issue plaguing the iPhone 6 Plus. While the company has offered users half-price repairs for the issue, the company still does not accept it to be a production flaw but instead terms it as a case of misuse. Apple stressed hard to point out that the problem only appears after being dropped multiple times on a hard surface and then incurring further stress.
Experts reveal that the actual cause is the bending of the frame which often leads to damage or unseating of an important touch screen component, which again takes us to BendGate issue. Even though Apple hasn’t declared it to be a design flaw, it is still offering a flat 50 percent discount on the repairs.
