We have been hearing alot about the HTC M7 lately which will be the Taiwanese giant’s flagship device for the 2013 and is expected to launch at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013. We have also seen an alleged render of the smartphone leak over the past week and today we have a much genuine looking render which has appeared online.
As you can see, the image goes on to look authentic enough to make us believe that this is the HTC M7 but the render is not coming straight from HTC.
According to the source, various people handling the device have said that the front of the M7 in the render does go on to match with the real deal but the back of the M7 in the render is just a mockup and is a combination of the HTC Droid DNA and the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.
HTC M7 is not going to arrive with edge-to-edge screen as rumoured earlier and the company has decided to go with capacitive touch buttons on the M7. But if we observe closely, the buttons have been switched and the home button has been moved to the far right which is a bit weird. Also the date on the render is January 15th which is when it might have been made but the place, Barcelona, is where MWC is going to be held and is perfect.
The specification of the HTC M7 are said to be the same as we reported earlier and the smartphone is going to pack in:
- 4.7-inch full-HD display
- Pixel density of 468 PPI
- 1.7 GHz quad- core Snapdragon S4 processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 32 GB internal storage
- Expandable using microSD slot
- Android Jelly Bean
- 13 MP camera at the rear
- 2 MP front facing camera
- Beats Audio
- 2300 mAh battery
