OnePlus rolled out the Android 7.1.1 Nougat based OxygenOS Open Beta update earlier this month for the OnePlus 3 and 3T to test it on a wider number of devices and receive user feedback. Well, this Chinese company is now done testing the update and has started rolling out 7.1.1 Nougat to OnePlus 3 and 3T in the form of OxygenOS 4.1.0 update.
This Android 7.1.1 Nougat update comes to the OnePlus 3 and 3T after more than two months of receiving the 7.0 Nougat update. With this update, users will be able to make use of app shortcuts which is similar to the 3D Touch on iOS. You simply long-press on an app icon and you are then presented with different app shortcuts with which you can perform certain actions quickly.
Here’s what the update includes:
- Upgraded to Android 7.1.1
- March 1, 2017 Google security patch for Android
- Added expanded screenshots
- Improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction
- Improved video stability when recording
- Improved WiFi connectivity
- Improved bluetooth connectivity
- General bug fixes
The update is currently rolled out over the air for both the OnePlus 3 and the 3T, which means it will take at least a week for the update to reach your device. If you don’t receive an update notification on your device even after that period of time, you can check for the update manually by going to the Settings > System updates menu.
