With most of the latest smartphones coming preloaded with the Android Lollipop version, Honor is updating their handsets to the latest version.
Honor, the digital brand of Huawei, has announced the release of the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Honor 6 and Honor 4C smartphones in India. The Android 5.1 Lollipop update comes with a layer of the upgraded EMUI 3.1. The company has also assured that the Honor 6 Plus would receive the update in the next few days and the Honor 4X would receive the updates in early October.
The EMUI 3.1, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, brings many new features, functionalities and improved user experience. The update allows you to see notifications on the home screen without having to swipe. Users can also hide apps on the home screen. Also added is the Time Lapse photography feature.
