HTC One owners, rejoice! HTC America President Mr. Jason Mackenzie has shared the wonderful news on Twitter that the latest version of Android – Android 4.3 will be coming to HTC One developer version smartphones this week along with the new version of the Sense UI. After that, the first consumers to receive the update would be the Canadian HTC One owners.
They are also working on certification in the U.S. indicating that a global update too might be pouring in soon. In fact, consumers in Taiwan state that they are already receiving the update Over-the-air. Mackenzie has further stated on his Twitter feed that HTC Butterfly too will receive the Sense 5 update, but will currently run on Android 4.2.2. in the U.S.
The fact that HTC is working on updates to its handsets holds out hope for Indian consumers too. We certainly hope they pour in here soon and think that both Sense 5 and Android 4.3 might show up together. Rest assured, everything should be on the way by the end of next month.
