A new app store is on the block. One of the biggest multinational electronic commerce companies, Amazon.com are going to launch their very own app store, the rumored date is 22nd March, not far is it? Customers will be able to purchase apps through the Amazon.com website or directly through a native Amazon app on their Android devices according to Wired.com. There was a leak last year that Amazon’s Android app store will be a curated market; that is Amazon reviewers will determine if the apps should be on the store or not. Surely there are going to be quality apps available.
A developer portal is already out for developers who have applications to share. Amazon will also be taking money in more countries than the Google’s checkout for the Android market. There is also a speculation of Amazon to launch a tablet powered by Android.
