There have been a few rumours about Sony’s upcoming smartphones which included the C6603 which is codenamed ‘Yuga’ and is said to arrive with a 5-inch full HD 1080p display.
And today, the guys at Android Schweiz have posted pictures of the upcoming smartphone which give us a chance look at the Yuga.
As we have already said, the Sony ‘Yuga’ will arrive with a 5-inch 1080p display and the smartphone will be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core (possibly Snapdragon S4 Pro) processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM.
The Sony C6603 Yuga is to arrive with a 12 MP camera on the rear while the previous rumours had suggested that there might be a 13 MP shooter but things can always change before the official launch.
As we can see in the pictures, the Yuga is running on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean but we expect the smartphone to arrive with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Also, the 5-inch smartphone is to arrive with a unibody design so the battery will be non-removable.
But one interesting thing to note is that the smartphone is arriving with glass back, just like the iPhone 4/4S which is something odd for Sony and which we have never seems from the company. But then, the change is welcome as the design doesn’t have much to offer.
