The hype around the OnePlus 5 is building up as we keep coming across leaks and rumors about the device every other day. Three days ago, we came across a leaked retail box of the OnePlus 5 which confirmed the existence of dual camera setup on the device. Now, we are looking at a leaked teaser which shows off the placement of the dual camera setup on the device, and yes, the placement differs from what we have seen in the past.
This teaser (pictured above) which was leaked online shows off the dual camera setup at the back of the OnePlus 5, however, unlike the past leaks (pictured below) which showed off vertically positioned dual camera setup, this one reveals a horizontally positioned one.
Not just that, the teaser also shows the dual camera setup being placed at the top-left corner of the device as opposed to the centrally placed setup that we have seen in the past. Apart from that, the teaser also seems to show off a dual-LED flash unit as opposed to the single-LED flash unit. Besides, the OnePlus logo also seems to have been moved further down below.
Lastly, you can also see the antenna lines placed at the top-left and bottom-right corner of the back of the device instead of passing entirely through the top and bottom. Speaking of the dual camera setup itself, it’s said to be a combination of a standard RGB sensor and a monochrome sensor. Apart from that, the OnePlus 5 is already confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and there have been rumors of the device coming with 8 GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 5 is rumored to be launched on June 15, however, there’s no official confirmation from OnePlus regarding the launch. Well, we should know more about the device in the coming days.
