We have been hearing about the Nokia 9 every other day. Yesterday, we saw it making an appearance on Geekbench with 6 GB RAM, and last week, it was spotted on AnTuTu with 4 GB RAM. Well, the Nokia 9 has popped up again on Geekbench, however, this time, it reveals different amount of RAM.
This alleged Nokia 9 has popped up on Geekbench as HMD Global TA-1052 with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4 GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Previously, the Nokia 9 has appeared on Geekbench as Unknown Heart with Snapdragon 835 SoC, but, with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM. This is the first time when Nokia 9 has appeared on Geekbench with 4 GB RAM, however, this is also the first time when it has appeared with a different name.
Having said that, it was spotted on AnTuTu with 4 GB RAM, but the unit carried model number TA-1004. Well, this clearly hints at HMD testing different configurations of Nokia 9. Besides, it’s also possible that HMD would launch the Nokia 9 with different configurations in different markets.
There’s still no word from HMD regarding the launch of Nokia 9 and neither has the company confirmed any of its other details. However, seeing that the frequency of Nokia 9 popping up on different benchmarking websites with different configurations has increased, we expect HMD to launch the smartphone by the end of this month or maybe the first or second week of the next.
By the way, are you excited about the Nokia 9? Have you ever owned any Nokia phone in the past?
