Once the Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched, we expected the Samsung to launch the S5 mini, S5 Active, S5 Zoom and more. Samsung launched the S5 mini and Active while the S5 Zoom device was launched as the Galaxy K Zoom. Now, we have news on yet another device with S5 moniker on it, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo. A Samsung device has popped up on the GFXBenchmark database, which is said to be the S5 Neo.
The alleged Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo features the model number SM-G850. The device can be expected to be the slightly affordable version of the flagship, just like the Note 3 Neo.
Thanks to the benchmark listing, we also get to know the specifications. The device is said to be featuring a 4.7-inch HD (1280x720p) display and it’ll be powered by the 1.8 GHz Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor with ARM Mali T628 GPU and 2 gigs of RAM.
There’s 32 GB of internal storage, 11 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. The device will feature NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 on the connectivity front. The device also features Android 4.4.4 KitKat and we can expect the wide array of TouchWiz customizations.
There are no details on when Samsung plans to unveil the device or the price but we’ll let you know, as soon as we get to know.
