Seeing the demand for entry-level Android smartphones, Alcatel has now launched the Alcatel PIXI 4 in India.
Alcatel has announced the launch of the Alcatel PIXI 4, which is the company’s latest entry-level smartphone offering with 4G VoLTE support. The device has a massive 6 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the entry-level quad core Snapdragon 210 processor with a mere 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Alcatel PIXI 4 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 2580 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity.
Speaking about the Alcatel PIXI 4, Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, Alcatel India, said, “Looking at affordability of data packages and availability of video content on demand, we expect growth in 6″ 4G VoLTE segment. The new PIXI 4 6″ will continue the legacy of improvised polaroid software, better movie experience and faster browsing.”
